1. Overview

VirtualSpace.xyz LLC ("VirtualSpace," "we," "us," or "our") operates Spatialist™. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our websites, create an account, or use the service.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information. Name, email address, phone number, organization details, role, and authentication identifiers.

Billing information. Billing contact details and transaction metadata. Payment card data is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Operational and capture data. Addresses, schedules, mission details, deliverables, survey responses, files you upload, and metadata needed to operate spatial-capture workflows.

Usage and device data. Log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, feature usage, crash reports, and security signals.

Communications. Support requests, feedback, and messages you send through the product.

Text messaging (SMS/RCS) consent. If you opt in to receive text messages, we collect your mobile phone number and a timestamped record of your consent, so we can send the order or mission updates described in our Terms of Service and honor opt-out (STOP) requests.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and local storage for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, secure, and improve Spatialist
  • Authenticate users and enforce permissions
  • Process payments, invoices, and payouts
  • Send service, transactional, and security-related communications, including the text-messaging programs described in our Terms of Service
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with law and protect rights, safety, and integrity of the service
  • Analyze aggregate usage to improve reliability and product design

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the service (for example hosting, database, email, SMS/RCS messaging, maps, payments, and analytics), subject to contractual safeguards
  • Organizations you belong to when you use Spatialist as part of a team account
  • Customers and partners according to sharing settings and connection relationships you or your organization authorize
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required

Text messaging consent is never shared or sold to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your mobile phone number and messaging opt-in status are used solely to deliver the Spatialist text-messaging programs described in our Terms of Service and are shared only with the messaging service provider needed to transmit those messages on our behalf.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and customer settings.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

To make a request, contact support@virtualspace.xyz. We may need to verify your identity. If you use Spatialist through an employer or customer organization, some requests may need to be routed through that organization's administrator.

You can control certain communications through account settings. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link where applicable. For text messages, reply STOP to any message to opt out, or START to opt back in.

8. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards when transferring data internationally.

9. Children's privacy

Spatialist is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-party links and embeds

Share pages, maps, capture viewers, and integrations may link to or embed third-party services with their own privacy practices. Their policies govern information collected by those services.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where required.
